Web-based application of molecular register in innovative network

The Project is being executed under the Operational Programme „Development of the competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy” 2007 - 2013" prepared and conducted according to Procedure BG161PO003-1.1.05 "Development of Innovation by start-up companies"
This project idea comes from the assumption that in Bulgaria and in other European countries, as well as in many advanced and developing societies there is a real necessity of web-based molecular registers (hypothetical at this stage) for the needs of the administrative authorities, responsible for GMO/Genetically Modified organisms/ expertise, micro-RNA therapy in health carefacilities,ecological environment monitoringand many other activities in different spheres of life.
The project is based on the fact that a system of bio-information sites already exists in global information space, being operated by innovation network , where above mentioned molecular registers could be implemented to collect data bases for molecular genetic elements (DNA, RNA and protein sequences) and to enable their processing for the above purposes. The Innovation Network is a common methodological tool that has proved its fruitfulness in contemporary bioinformatics. The latter is defined as computational molecular biology, whose output data, processing programs and outcomes are available for free use and as per specific features of each site in the network (example: NCBI, EMBL, Swiss-Prot, etc.). Future use of web-based molecular registers in the applied bioinformatics results crucial to the development of practical directions, mentioned above .
This molecular register project uses as a prototype a project proposed for Germanmolecular registry. Unlike the German interpetation , our project is based on the original, significantly different basis of the modern script programming and so ensures the construction of fundamentally new dynamic register. This determines the achievement of significant advantage and benefit, related to our project for molecular register - could be developed by users themselves. The later are given the opportunity to add new options for collecting data with different nature and run their biological processing according to the needs of relative practical field and area of application .
